Taking Baby Steps for My Foundation, "Let's Go M.A.D." (Pink Lids)

If any of you have been to my website, you'll see that I added quite a few things. By the way, everything on that site is up to date and always has new things added each time people request information.
One of the new things on my website is a non profit foundation/organization called "Let's Go M.A.D. (Make A Difference)  that I would like to start in the future when everything is stabled enough for me to start it. Just like Shakira started her own foundation called The Barefoot Foundation. You can find out more about "Let's Go M.A.D. (Make A Difference)" on my website under the 'Brands' page.

For the mean time, I'm making a difference on my own by taking baby steps. The first step I have already started is helping out Yoplait SLSL (Save Lids to Save Lives.) It's really so simple. All you have to do is go to your grocerie store and buy some yoplaits that have a pink lid on it. If my memory is correct, you have to save ten lids in order to mail it out, but I could be wrong. I already have two lids saved. It sucks that Yoplait doesn't come in a pack like Trix. You have to buy the yogurts seperately.

I think it's quite obvious what the pink lids are all about: Breast Cancer. They donate 10 cents to help cure breast cancer. On the back of your lids (the silver side) there is a code that you have to redeem before sending it off.  I'd like to donate over 30 lids.

So besides donating these wonderful, shiney, pink lids, the second step I'm taking for Let's Go M.A.D. is by my inspirational  biography. I've already said a few things about that.  So I wont say anymore, but if you're clueless and missed a couple of my earlier hoots, then you can find out about my inspirational biography, "That Happy Someone", on my website. I do have to say, though that today, I went around and asked my top heroes the same question, which was: "Before having kids (some of them had kids,) what would motivate you to keep going on in life and helped keep things brighter for you when times would get really hard for you?" Their answers are gonna be in the bonus chapter in my biography.  My biography is helping out in an act of kindness, motivation, and inspiration towards others who have difficulty finding their happiness in life.

I know for sure that, ONE day I will make a difference! I believe that ONE person can make a difference! All it takes is ONE time, and that time is when you take that first step into the journey of making a difference. Why do I wanna make a difference? I want to make a difference, because a difference NEEDS to be made. Plus, It is a very good feeling and rewarding to me, knowing that I had helped a lot of people, and to bring smiles to many faces. ...All because I believed I could. What we do  in this life time effects just about everything on us. To me, life runs on karma. Karma comes in good and bad form. If you keep doing bad things, have a negitave additude, then the outcome is going to be bad , because that's what you put into it. People are driven by life and if you go forward/drive with a negative additude and  bad behavior it will take you to negative things. If you drive with a positive additude and good behavior then it will take you to great things. Again, I can honestly say that I truely believe that life runs on karma.
For real though, I'm just a friendly person who LOVES to inspire and motivate others. That's where all this is coming from.
Now how bout some of that delicious yoplait?!?

Behind The Chapters Of "That Happy Someone"

I didn't explain WHY I'm writing my inspirational biography. On my website, it just gives you the back cover. I really feel it's important to tell the meaning behind all this and why I'm doing it. As I said before, it is not about my life, but about many events in my life that has inspired me to write this or that my good head and strong willed heart has inspiration.

I can not tell you how many times I keep hearing people say "I give up. I want to end it all. My life sucks. FML. I don't care anymore, my life sucks and no one cares about me any way." Yes, those are the most common ones I keep hearing from people because their life is rough right now or that they cant find a single person in the world who cares for them. Or some other difficult part of reality. So when the going gets tough, they give up. In stead of me giving them a pat on the back, I'll give them a shove on the back and say "HELLO? Wake up! Are you that low to yourself?" If you are one of those people I'm going to say this: I understand that life can get extremely rough, and bitter, and painful, and what not. I really do, but GIVING UP is going to make matters a lot worse for you. Just sitting here feeling sorry for yourself is going to get you NO WHERE and again make things worse. You need to get up, start doing stuff and think of yourself. Keep moving forward and that is what makes you strong and keeps getting you stronger. [Keep reading, more below the picture.]

I don't understand why  people don't want to do something with their life. My inspirational biography comes from just about every most common rough part of life and it guides the reader to making a dramatic change in their life and building bliss and a very rewarding lifestyle-whatever that may be for them. When people become so hurt, lost, confused, sad, etc. they can only take so much more. When it comes to the last straw people think the only option is to give up in life-go down hill, or end their life all together. It is SO NOT the only option. In fact, it shouldn't be an option at all.
It is so important to me to help influence, inspire, and motivate people because I love to see others happy and moving forward with their life. Not only because of that, but because I believe I can make a difference.  Writing this biography is one of the first ways I want to do that. I feel it's safe to say that I am a motivaitonist, and inspirationist at heart and that is just part of who I am. So I'm going to be me and do what comes naturally. You already know what that is.
What could I possibly know about the rough angles of life? BELIEVE ME, I know! The biography will tell you so.
My last words are, you don't even have to be somebody who is going through something dramatic or sad or stressful or whatever it is that's bitter. You can read my biography just for pure curiosity of what I have to say. You can read it for entertainment. It would be incredible if people read it for lots of different reasons, THEIR OWN reasons! You have NOTHING TO LOSE! Well...except for the negativity in your life, if you have any. =]

The Facts Behind 'Cold Komodo'

I don't like to say names, but a little bird was asking me questions about my novel, 'Cold Komodo. I thought it would be interesting to share the information with the rest of you.

Little Bird: How did you get the idea for Cold Komodo?
Me: I got the idea when I went to this reptile petting zoo place in a mall, that had actual reptiles in the back of the store and you got a tour and information about all of the animals back there. Our tour guide showed us this one type of lizard that is called Komodo Dragon. The facts I learned about that type of lizard was so neat, I could not let it get away. I had to do something with it. What better way of putting it in a novel?

LB: What inspired you to write Cold Komodo?
Me: What really inspired me to write Cold Komodo was death, as morbid as that sounds. For a long period of time I tired to teach and tell myself that death is not the enemy, even though we cry. It's not death that makes us cry, it's the thought that we wont see that person for a very long time and they are no longer with us physically. It's very hard to cope with that. Death is our calling, that takes us, hopefully, to a better place.

LB: Can you describe a little bit more about how this fits into your book?
Me: Yeah. Even though the petting zoo gave me the idea and the facts were so interesting, that part had very little inspiration for me. In order for me to create a story and make it into a novel, the plot line has to be super thick and there has to be something sturdy behind it. What I mean by that is, there has to be a strong message that follows the book or a lesson that the character learns. So, the inspiration of death could easily fit in here. Even though you are not to mix YOUR feelings up with the CHARACTERS feelings, I thought I could spill my feelings and looks on death into the book. It easily fits in with the plot line.

LB: So does somebody die?
Me: Yes, two people do, but it doesn't spoil anything. It's one of the first things you'll come to read in the beginning of book.

LB: Alright. So, what are you trying to convey in this novel?
Me: The way I try to convey the message is that the main character states, a few times in the book, that she sees people take life for granted. That really is the main thing. I would totally, go into more detail on this, but I would definitely have to give some spoilers.

LB: What is the genre for this book?
Me: Action and a little bit of Science Fiction, with a tint of Mystery.

LB: The theme for this book  is meaning of death and life, right?
Me: No. The two themes I always play in my writings are either heroism or second chances.

LB: What else can you say about  Cold Komodo?
Me: It's a superhero story.

LB: You said that you are going to be mainly going to be writing screenplays, now. What's gonna happen with Cold Komodo?
Me: Yes. I will be writing screenplays, but for the mean time until I am more educated about screenwriting, I have to write my stories in book form. I will eventually transform Cold Komodo into a screenplay, unless it is not necessary and somebody else decides to do that for me.

LB: Okay, so do you have a teaser or a sneak peak we could read for Cold Komodo?
Me: Yes, I do. You can go find it by following the steps below:
