Unbearable Fall

If there is a big massive black hole that's going to suck us all up in the end...please do it now before my anger takes over my actions and I start acting like a freak of nature. Everytime I think something is going to work out perfectly, it doesn't! I was so anxious to get back on my schedule again this morning ( I only follow my schedule on week days) and go about my weekly walk with my dog Dino and sweat my buns off with the Wii fit. Oh, but no...I can't do that because I woke up sick!

With a throat so scratchy and soar, my nose is so stuffy that I feel like your stuffing on a Thanks Giving day sizzling on your fork. ....And then I pretend your mouth is that big massive black hole. Too bad I'm not a stuffing dinner. I had so much to do today. I even promised my mom that I would mop the floors for her! Hey....remember how the commercial says there's power in Pinesol...? If there is PLEASE HEAL ME! Now that would be "the power of Pinesol, baby!"

Now if I can try to get to better news instead of me complaining...that would be great! You'll have to excuse me if my subjects go bouncing all over the place, I'm very distracted right now.   First off, I would like to point out how thankful I am that I had a chance to go out and have fun the past two weeks before I got sick. That absolutely made things all the better. Hopefully my cold will go away before Friday. I have plans that day. A plan I promised that would happen. Another thing I promised that would happen is that I would use this awesome digitals scrap booking program my mom got for me as a gift not to long ago. It seemed fun! My laptop was being weird last night, so unfortunately, I did not get a chance to use that. (Again, big massive black hole suck me up.) One thing I DID  get to do is do some picture editing last night of a picture me and my best friend just took while I was at her house. I have been feeling so crafty, lately. I dont know why.

I think it's so cute! What do you guys think? I love Color Splash photos!
Anyways, I have to get moving on the next subject so I can try to relax and have a cup of hot cocoa. I don't think I'll be able to work on Impostor untill I feel better. I have to have one. Hundred. Percent. Energy. And be able to focus clearly. I cant do any of that when I'm sick or grumpy. BUT one thing I can do is tell you where I got the inspiration to write Impostor! This is one of the thing I LOVE  sharing about my writings: where the inspiration comes from.  As you all know, by now, I am inspired to write by Meg Cabot. However.... my stories are inspired by something else. Meg just inspires me to never give up "on writing".  So what inspired me to write Impostor?  I was inspired to write Impostor by a series called "Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls." This series is written by Meg Cabot.

Is this book a book for kids? Yes. Now, just hold on a minute. I may not of read the series but what I did read about was how Meg got this series going, her inspiration to write it, and other stuff.  Princess Diary series (also by Meg) is another inspiration for Impostor. This book is for older audience.

Meg wrote these two series based on past experience and things that she came to knew. When I first started out writing my biggest series that I ever started, I didn't realize how many complex parts there are in it. It made it very hard to write. So, I told you all this before that I'm giving that series a brake for a while and going to work on it later. This is where Impostor started: Last November 3rd, I didn't spend time sleeping. I spent my time in bed thinking about what my new novel is going to be about. Some time at midnight, it clicked! Then the next night I spent a good half hour working on the back cover (the part that explains what the book is about.) But one thing that I realized is Meg Cabot has a brilliant idea: write from things you came to know and past experience! I can do that with Impostor! I'll know the characters, feelings, thoughts, plans, situations, etc. THAT is where Allie Finkles and Princess Dairies came in! Meg wrote those two series by fitting tiny pieces of her past life in those books!

and
Princess Diaries INSPIRATION

Check out those two links to get a better grasp of what I mean if what I'm talking about isnt clear enough. One is realy cute and funny and...actually they borh are!

So now you know what got Impostor started! While the rest of you are enjoying the beautiful weahter outside and I'm stuck here drinking hot chocolate and eating hot runny foods, I'll be sitting on my couch thinking of how much this is an unbearable fall for me.

Creatively Speaking,
Brooke Moran (BroEliMor)

P.S. If you have any little neices, daughters, cousins, etc. and they love to read GET THEM Allie Finkle's series! I promise you they will not be able to put the book down!
